Innovative financing models for sustainable and urban systems of energy.

INFINITE deals with new financing models for low-carbon, multi-building energy systems in urban development areas. Examined are e.g. project companies through the development of an ideal business plan and model social contract. In addition, governance processes are analyzed and recommendations for their optimization are given.

The project INFINITE deals with financing models for energy systems in new urban quarters. The focus is on low-carbon, grid-connected energy systems. Support is given to the investor side (i.a. a project company) by the development of a model business plan and a model company agreement. Additionally, governance processes are analysed and recommendations for their optimisation elaborated.

The Energy Center ensures the continuous exchange with the City of Vienna (Energy Planning Department MA20) and furthermore integrates relevant stakeholders, which are not part of the project consortium. Through interviews and bilateral discussions, the experiences and needs of the key actors (project developers, energy suppliers) are collected and best possibly incorporated into the planned documents and governance recommendations.
